The Vatican has released the list of new
archbishops that have been named in the past year and will receive the Pallium
in the celebration of St. Peter and Paul.
Some changes have
also been announced to the ritual that takes place in St. Peter's
Basilica. This year, the Pallium ceremony will take place before the Mass,
rather than after the homily as it has in the past. The change is meant to make
the ceremony shorter and avoid interrupting the liturgy.
